Does the index contain only info I have access to? How is authentication for all the knowledge sources handled?

In the setup process you sign in via SSO to all integrations, the token is saved in local storage. That token is used for indexing, and so if you don’t have access to info, the index doesn’t have access.

That was my question too. It seems they have a deal with Samsung, atleast for the FSD computer chips[1].

Well designed interface. There might be something here if one can use this to render one's own notes? Or is this meant to render user provided content like Wikipedia?

really like the shell ergonomics, how about adding tab completion?

I really like the concept, thanks for sharing!

Perhaps something to the tune of "How to customize macOS defaults" would be more appropriate then?

Tried it out, looks nice :) Is there a quick screenshot feature? That would be really helpful for sharing analysis and storing important views.

Thanks :D We're working on an export feature to quickly share or paste in a ppt etc.. But for now you'll have to rely on your printscreen or snipping tool skills.

I love how focused it is! Would this work on linux in case I build it from source? Just tried it out on my mac and seems to be a little buggy at the moment. The editor doesn't seem to reliably respond to keystrokes and the search window went blank a couple of times. I guess it needs some polish, but I like the UI a lot.

Thanks that really means a lot, the feedback is very much appreciated!

Building from source should work on linux. I'm still ironing out a lot of the kinks, the search window going blank is at the top of my list and I am also working on editor reliability.

Hope you can get the full value out of this once I've made it more reliable!

Here's a great video by numberphile on the subject https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASoz_NuIvP0
